OUR WORK
Projects
We’re proud to be involved in our communities in a myriad of ways. We are able to continue the work, thanks to the specific projects we administer with our donors and volunteers. Our current projects are:
01.
C20 SOUTH AFRICA
We’re proud to be actively supporting the Civil 20 (C20) since its late 2024 civil society meeting. Beyond collaborating with several working groups, we’ve taken the lead on social media engagement and handled key admin and logistics for delegates from around the world. It’s been an inspiring journey – and we’re just getting started.
02.
CODING & ROBOTICS
As AI continues to shape our world, we’re making sure young people are prepared – not left behind. Our coding and robotics programme equips them with design thinking, creative problem-solving, and the tech skills to use AI in advocacy and allyship. Thanks to a donation from Hexagon, the programme runs in Roodepoort and Muldersdrift (Gauteng), with exciting expansion plans underway in Cape Town (Western Cape).
03.
CUREcrew connect
HIV Cure Research is gaining momentum in South Africa, and we’re proud to be at the forefront. With support from the African HIV Cure Consortium (AHCC), we’ve led community sensitisation workshops across Gauteng, North West, Mpumalanga, and the Western Cape – reaching more people every day, both on the ground and online. With plans to expand to all nine provinces (funding dependent), we’re committed to keeping communities informed and engaged “until a cure is found”.
04.
We GIRLS! WE RISE!
Our custom-designed CSE curriculum empowers adolescent girls and young women to understand their Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights and take ownership of their autonomy. The programme also includes personal development and Gender-Based Violence education – and importantly, it includes boys too. We’re proud to see many of the young women we’ve worked with now leading as ambassadors within Impact Drivers, creating change in their own communities.
05.
#boyswillbeboys
This programme empowers boys and young men to build healthy, respectful relationships and take a stand against Gender-Based Violence. Through engaging workshops, we challenge harmful gender stereotypes, encourage emotional growth, and promote vulnerability as a strength. By helping participants understand themselves, we prepare them to support and uplift the women in their lives and communities.
06.
GET US ORGANISED
This programme equips NPO leaders – whether emerging or experienced – with the essential tools to run effective, sustainable organisations. From governance and financial management to building strong teams and making strategic decisions, we support leaders at every stage. Our sessions are offered both online and in person, with tailored one-on-one support to help scale impact. No one leaves our workshops without a clear next step for growth.
